To print to the grad student BizHub350 printer/copier please follow these instructions. Windows:
  1. Download the driver.
  2. Install the driver. Unzip the files. Run the setup program accepting the defaults.
  3. Add a new local printer.
  4. Create a new Standard TCP/IP port with hostname or IPAddress of 128.175.10.136
  5. Uncheck the "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use" if it appears.
  6. When asked for a driver select Manufacturer = Konica Minolta, Printer = Konica Minolta Universal PCL
  7. Accept the remaining defaults. Rename the printer if you wish. Do NOT print a test page.
  8. In the printers control panel, select the Konica printer. Right click on that and select Properties (or Printer Properties).
  9. From the drop down box that says History change that to Manual Connection.
  10. Select the Konica Minolta 350/250/200 from the Model box.
  11. Change the radio button to Port, and select the 128.175.10.136 port. Click OK.
  12. Click the ok button on the pop up box (it will not go away on it's own)
  13. Go to the Configure tab.
  14. Under device option scroll down until you see User Authentication and Account Track.
  15. Select User Authentication. Change the Setting (below the options box) to "On (Device)".
  16. Select Account Track. Change the setting to "Enable".
  17. Click the Apply button
  18. Go to the General Tab.
  19. Click the Preferences button.
  20. On the right side of the new box click the "Authentication/Account Track" button (NOT User Settings).
  21. Under User Authentication select "Recipient User". Put in User Name and Password provided by your department.
  22. Under Account Track put in Department Name and Password provided by your department. (These are the same as the previous step.)
  23. Click OK on the User Authentication/Account Track screen
  24. Click OK on the Printing Preferences screen
  25. Click Print Test Page on the properties page
  26. Click OK on the properties page

For Macs:
  1. Download the appropriate driver. (Mac 10.5, Windows, other)
  2. Install the driver. Unzip the files. Run the setup program accepting the defaults.
  3. Open System Preferences
  4. Select the Print & Fax Option
  5. Click the + to add a new printer.
  6. Change the protocol to Internet Printing Protocol - IPP
  7. For the address put in 128.175.10.136
  8. Rename the printer
  9. For Print Using select "Select Printer Software".
  10. In the popup box select KONICA MINOLTA 350/250/200 PS
  11. Click Add
  12. Click the Finisher Check box
  13. Click Continue
  14. Go test print something
  15. In the print options diaglog select the new printer
  16. Expand that window so it shows all options (the small blue triangle button next to the printer dropdown should be pointing up)
  17. Select the Security option from the drop down below the page orientation
  18. Click the User Authentication box. Provide the user name and password provided by your department.
  19. Click the account track box. Provide the department name and password provided by your department.
  20. On subsequent prints to this printer select Presets: "Last Used Settings". Or repeat steps 16-19.
